What you'll be doing?Lead compliance efforts:Manage corporate compliance, governance, and administration for client companies in accordance with the Companies Act 2016 and Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's Listing Requirements.
Attend key meetings:Represent the company at board, shareholder, and other relevant meetings to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
Stay informed:Keep up-to-date with developments in company laws, regulations, and best practices to provide expert guidance.
Mentor and supervise:Lead, coach, and mentor a team of subordinates, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.
Manage client relationships:Serve as the primary contact for auditors, business professionals, and regulatory bodies, building strong client relationships.
Provide expert advice:Offer guidance to clients on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in corporate governance.
Drive business growth:Contribute to service planning, maintenance, and marketing efforts to expand the company's client base.
Who are they looking for?Qualified professional:ACIS qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience in company secretarial services, particularly handling public listed company work.
Regulatory expertise:Comprehensive knowledge of the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's Listing Requirements, and Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance.
Independent worker:Ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently and provide technical support to team members.
Leadership skills:Experience in managing and leading an established team of company secretarial professionals.
Strong communicator:Excellent command of English language and business writing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Proactive mindset:Self-motivated, performance-driven individual with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
