Cost Accountant

What You'll Do
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and controls.
Perform detailed analysis of production costs, including raw materials, labour, and overheads.
Prepare and present cost reports to management for insights into operational performance.
Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and production teams to monitor cost trends and ensure accuracy.
Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning initiatives.
Assist in audits and compliance reporting, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
Perform any other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications (ACCA, CMA, or CIMA) are a plus.
Experience:Minimum 5 years in cost accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in Autocount Accounting System and advanced Excel skills.
Attributes:Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Communication:Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
