Job Descriptions:
Assists with the year-end financial audit and compliance audits;
Accurate processing of month-end journals (inventory related, fixed assets, and costs) and inventory reconciliation;
Assists in costs related variance analysis and investigations;
Assists in overhead costs allocations;
Assists with annual physical counts and cycle counts, including preparation, cutoffs, audit of counts, and reconciliations;
Maintain standard costs;
Perform month-end costing accounting close;
Assists with fixed assets register maintenance including additions and disposals;
Supports standardization and consolidation efforts and initiatives to allow for a shared service structure;
Provides support to establish data mining and automation techniques and systems that enable more efficient analysis;
Any other duties as assigned by Assistant Controller.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent(3-5 years) working experience in audit background;
Experience in manufacturing industry;
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification preferred;
Excellent analytical skills with high data accuracy and "tracing" transactions skill;
Must be willing to work at Penang Island, Malaysia.
