COST AND CONTRACT ENGINEER.
(Based in Kemaman, Terengganu)

RESPONSIBILITIES Directly reporting to Assistance Manager Cost & Contract DepartmentTo attend site visit at client premisesAble to prepare Cost and Contract tender document involving Technical and commercial scopeRespond to customer and supplier inquiries when necessaryTo conduct negotiation with suppliersResponsible for securing the best price for all purchases without jeopardizing quality, confirming all orders and their subsequent delivery REQUIREMENT Candidate must possess at least Degree in Electrical/Instrument in EngineeringHave at least 2 to 3 years relevant working and at least 1 year experience on project execution.Capable in applying Microsoft Project applicationAdvantage for those with experience in Oil & Gas environmentGood written and verbal communication skills and proficient in the EnglishA good team player and be able to establish effective and good working relationship with all levels of personnelAble to work under pressure.Strong basic knowledge of math.Self-motivated & independent.High degree of negotiation skills and sales ability.Posses' positive attitude, excellent presentation & communication. OTHERS Job declared as a permanent once probation period reachedProficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Project/Powerpoint applicationsPossess own transport and valid driving licenseValid Oil & Gas Safety Passport is advantageWilling to travel outstation if required by companyAble to re-locate if instruct by companySalary : RM 2,500 – RM 3,000 (based on experience)
