What you'll be doing Responsible for the cost management and cost sorting of IDC project during the operation and maintenance periodCommunicate and coordinate with related departments to analyze the cost, schedule, etc. of the renovation project during operation and maintenance period, and provide cost optimization suggestions to achieve the goal of cost reduction;Developing and implementing cost management strategies for M&E components of data centre projectsPreparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for M&E work, ensuring adherence to project requirements and financial constraintsNegotiating and managing contracts with M&E vendors and subcontractors, optimising costs while maintaining qualityMonitoring and controlling M&E costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and mitigating any cost overrunsProviding regular cost reports and insights to project stakeholders, supporting informed decision-makingCollaborating with the project management team to ensure effective coordination and integration of M&E activitiesIdentifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in M&E procurement and delivery What we're looking for Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience as a Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor, specifically in the M&E domainProven track record of successfully managing costs for complex data centre or similar infrastructure projectsExcellent understanding of M&E systems, construction methodologies, and industry best practicesProficient in cost estimation, budgeting, contract negotiation, and financial reportingAble to independently complete M&E budget estimates, target cost preparation, tender list and cost control list preparation, bid evaluation and bidding;Effective communication and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with relevant construction and M&E regulations, standards, and certifications
