Our client, a prominent intelligent risk management service provider based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, is looking for a skilled and dynamic Country Manager to oversee operations in Malaysia. The role involves managing regional sales KPIs and leading sales for the company's technology solutions and SaaS offerings. Specializing in risk management and fraud prevention, the company delivers advanced tech solutions tailored to these areas.
Job Description
Oversee operations in the assigned country, including regional sales, cost, and margin KPIs
Lead sales for all products, including technology solutions and SaaS
Drive market expansion and lead a team to explore new opportunities and clients
Have at least five years of on-the-ground experience in the country, with strong knowledge of local culture, politics, business practices, and regulations, including experience with local government
Demonstrate effective team management skills, with experience managing both Chinese and local staff preferred
Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach
The Successful Applicant
Focused on the high-tech sector, including big data, cloud computing, IT, enterprise services, hardware, and servers. Preference for candidates with a background in software
Financial experience is preferred, as the company has a finance team in China for solutions and delivery
Proficiency in Chinese is preferred, with strong English communication skills required
Demonstrated success in regional management and market expansion
Proven ability to lead and build effective teams
In-depth knowledge of the local Malaysia market and regulatory environment
