Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will serve as the primary quality liaison between our company and our customers, ensuring that customer requirements are met and any quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
You will work closely with internal teams such as production, engineering, and supply chain to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities : Act as the main point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and issues.
Lead quality investigations and root cause analysis for customer-reported issues, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve customer quality concerns promptly.
Conduct customer site visits to support quality improvement initiatives and to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Monitor and track customer quality metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and industry standards.
Participate in the development and implementation of quality systems and processes to meet customer requirements.
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customer quality expectations and best practices.
Prepare and present reports and updates on customer quality performance to management.
Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting quality assurance.
Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality systems and tools such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
Ability to travel as needed for customer site visits.
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
