As a Customer Relations Officer / Customer Service Officer at Volvo (Federal Auto Cars) Penang, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Volvo car owners in the George Town, Penang region. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and building strong relationships with our valued clientele.
What you'll be doing
Answer and respond to customer inquiries and concerns via phone, email and in-person interactions.
Coordinate and manage customer appointment bookings, ensuring accurate capacity planning for smooth service center operations.
Conduct customer engagement activities, including service reminders via SMS and calls, to ensure consistent service intakes at the service center.
Make post-service or repair follow-up calls within the established timeframes to address customer feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Provide knowledgeable and helpful assistance on all aspects of Volvo vehicle ownership, including maintenance, warranty information and product features.
Resolve customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up on any unresolved matters.
Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure a seamless and high-quality customer experience.
Continuously seek ways to improve customer service and identify opportunities to enhance the Volvo brand experience.
Maintain and protect the customer database by ensuring timely updates and compliance with data protection policies.
Monitor and report customer feedback to management promptly, ensuring all voices are heard and acted upon.

Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the automotive or a similar service industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve conflicts effectively
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing prompt and practical solutions
