Customer Service Executive - Air Freight (Freight Forwarding Industry)

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Worldgate Express Services Sdn Bhd as a Customer Service Executive - Air Freight. In this full-time role based in Georgetown, Penang, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients within the freight forwarding industry.
What you'll be doing
Liaising with customers to understand their air freight needs and requirements
Coordinating air freight bookings and shipment logistics
Monitoring shipment progress and providing regular updates to customers
Addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Collaborating with the wider team to ensure seamless customer service
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of air freight processes and procedures
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
