Customer Service Executive (Barge & Conventional) - Shipping

Roles: Attending customers' enquiry to meet customer satisfaction. Assist in system implementation, enhancement to system/work processes to improve the operation efficiency of the department. Responsibilities: Received enquiry from customer. Check with Shipper and Liner on the charges, prepare quotation and email to customer; Open job in Smart Freight System after customer confirmed the quotation; Coordinate and check rate with Liner / Owner or Agent; Booking of Canvas and plan Vessel for Barge & Conventional; Update tonnage to the ship owner; Update shipping schedule with other liner and do booking to the liner once customer confirmed the booking date and prepare booking confirmation; Follow up with shipper on the Invoice, Delivery Order and Packing List; Check cargo and D/O with Jetty or Warehouse; To arrange transport with Transporter for delivery; Coordinate and assist on the Insurance and Fumigation on behalf of customers; Responsible to inform customers on the Estimate Time Arrival (ETA) and Estimate Time Departure (ETD); Update and follow up shipment with destination agent and customer for shipment (Port to Door); Follow up the door shipment on behalf of customer until reach the destination; Prepare Monthly Objective Report and submit to Assistant Manager for checking; Perform any other jobs as assign by superior / management when required from time to time. Qualifications: Possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM or Diploma in related field. Minimum 2 years of working customer service/documentations/operations experiences in forwarding/shipping environment; Multitasking with effective communications and time management skills; Excellent reporting skills; Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline and dedicate to work.
