Freight/Cargo Forwarding (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
About the roleAs a Customer Service Executive at AWH Ventures Sdn Bhd, you will be the face of our freight forwarding business, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Based in our Pasir Gudang, Johor office, this full-time role is integral to ensuring our clients receive a seamless and positive experience.
Job Description:
Responsible for day-to-day operation of Customer Service & Forwarding Department with broad understanding of import and export documentation process and familiarity working with Kastam Di Raja Malaysia, Shipping Agents, Port Authority & Other Government Agencies.
Responsible for ensuring all shipments are scheduled for timely Customs clearance through close monitoring and follow up with customers, shipping agent, haulage section, general transport, warehouse section and internal department.
Responsible in Customs declaration (EDI/ SMK), documentation preparation and submission also for other related shipment e.g.
DG declaration, Reefer shipment and etc.
Responsible for maintaining ongoing communication and correspondence and provide necessary feedback and shipment status to customers / agents.
Responsible for identifying Customs tariff code, update the system on each job workflow, prepare billing sheets & costing for invoicing to customers and agents.
Ensure all documentation processing is performed according to client requirements in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure maintenance and utilization of company system database for management reporting references.
Any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree, preferable major in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.
At least 2 to 3 years of working experience related to sales, freight & forwarding and inland transport is required for this position.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Own transport and willing to travel.
