Duties and Responsibilities: Help manage current customer accounts.Deal with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.Arranges shipments by examining destination, route, rate, delivery time; dispatches to carriers.Listening to customer needs and solving carrier problems and help resolve issues.Provide shipment quotes for customers and set up shipments as required by customers.Analyse freight bills for customer specific required information.Track and log information in the system.Excellent multitasking skills as well as computer software programs usage.Be a professional representative of our company that other employees look up to. Qualification: Education/Experience · Minimum high school diploma required. Some college preferred but not required.
· Minimum at least 1 year Logistics experience in Shipping Line Skills: · Ability to calculate in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
· Pleasant in nature and can communicate well.
Language Skills: · Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
· Ability to write simple correspondence.
· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
