GP Battery Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhdis a subsidiary of GP Batteries International Limited.
The Group is principally engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of batteries and battery-related products.
Since its establishment under the Gold Peak Technology Group in Hong Kong, GP Batteries has rapidly expanded to become one of the world's major suppliers of primary and rechargeable batteries.
It is one of the largest consumer battery manufacturers in China.
GP Batteries' production facilities are located in China, Vietnam and Malaysia, supported by marketing and trading offices spanning across Asia, Europe and North America.
The Group currently employs about 5,200 people worldwide and occupies a total floor area of approximately 307,800 square metres.
About This Role
This role will be reporting to the Assistant Customer Services Manager.
You are responsible for building and enhancing strong relationships with customers.
You will act as a central point of contact for all external customers, providing day-to-day customer services, order processing, and working closely with the shipping team for delivery arrangements and after-sales service.
Responsibilities
Dealing with customers and internal stakeholders on a day-to-day basis
Directly manage run-rate orders and coordinate order fulfilment issues to ensure completeness and timeliness of the shipment arrangements
Act as the first contact point for customer complaints and issues, resolving issues related to order, shipment, and delivery
Provide sales administrative support to the sales team
Handle any ad hoc assignments from the superior
Requirements
Advanced/Higher Diploma in any field or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
Must have experience in using an integrated system to process sales transactions; SAP preferable
Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin as liaison with Mandarin-speaking counterparts is required
Able to communicate in Cantonese or Vietnamese will be an advantage as the incumbent will need to work closely with Hong Kong or Vietnam counterparts
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills, eager to learn, and a good team player
Able to work under pressure and relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment
Job title will commensurate with experience and qualification.
More experienced candidates may be offered the Senior Customer Services Executive title.
