Role Overview:
The Cybersecurity Architect will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing robust security frameworks to protect the company's data centre operations. The role requires strong knowledge in cybersecurity principles, as well as hands-on experience in security protocols, tools, and methodologies. Expertise with CISSP or OSCP certifications is essential, as this position will require deep knowledge in both network and data security, specifically for data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, Design, and Implement secure infrastructure and systems specifically tailored for data center environments, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.Evaluate and Strengthen the organization's cybersecurity posture by identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending solutions to mitigate risks.Oversee Security Operations within the data center, working closely with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal security configurations.Develop and Maintain security standards, policies, and guidelines for data center operations.Conduct Security Audits and assessments, utilizing threat modeling, penetration testing, and other advanced techniques to uncover security gaps.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures seamlessly into data center operations.Stay Updated on the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the cybersecurity space, advising the leadership team on relevant strategies.Qualifications:
Certifications: CISSP or OSCP preferred; additional certifications in cybersecurity or related fields are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in cybersecurity roles, with at least 3 years focused on data center security or infrastructure security.Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.Proficiency in using security assessment tools, such as Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, etc.Strong understanding of cloud security, virtualization, and access management.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically about complex security challenges.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with SOC (Security Operations Center) operations.Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for security automation. Interested applicants, please send your detailed resume to:
