About the Role:
This role is designed for a professional with a robust technical background in security SaaS cloud solutions, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience interfacing with IT, Developers, and Platform Engineers and advocating for integrating security practices within DevOps to transition towards DevSecOps.
Responsibilities: Security Operations and Tools Management:
Manage and optimize security tools for SaaS platforms, focusing on GCP. Work with tools such as Attack Surface Management (ASM), SAST/DAST, Google Security Command Center (SCC), and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR). Maintain and monitor security solutions, and tools. Conduct security assessments or reviews on our applications.
Monitoring, Alerting, and Incident Response: Help with managing security alerts and incidents, documenting and reporting as needed. Engage in proactive threat analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential security issues.
Technical Security Assessments:
Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing. Assist in evaluating our cloud security configurations to identify and remedy vulnerabilities.
Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 3-5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with demonstrated skills in managing SaaS cloud security solutions. Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud services. Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their security integration. Strong expertise in application security (OWASP Top 10, secure coding, SDLC security). Familiarity with automated security testing tools and techniques. Relevant certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Security Engineer, OSCP) are a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Proactive, self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.
