The Data Analyst will play a vital role in optimising our operations, including engineering and production processes, analysing data, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. The Data Analyst should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data, create reports, and make recommendations for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and areas for improvement. Utilise statistical methods to interpret data and generate useful business insights. Prepare reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions based on relevant findings.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement. Recommend and implement process changes to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.
Quality Control Optimization: Monitor and analyze quality control data to ensure that products meet established quality standards. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address quality-related issues promptly.
Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on engineering and production metrics, performance, and quality. Present findings to management and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements. Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and cost reduction.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and supply chain, to gather relevant data and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
Documentation: Build data systems and pipelines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production processes, changes, and improvements. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders have access to necessary information.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to operation staff on new processes, tools, and technologies. Address any questions or concerns related to production procedures.
Carry out other duties and tasks as directed by the Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.
Job Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Finance / Economics / Business or similar technical background.
3 years working experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Analyst or any position related to data and business analytics with a strong statistical background.
Demonstrate a working proficiency with intermediate experience with Power BI, Advanced Excel, Power Automate, MS Azure, Databrick is preferred.
Organization – creating and keeping easy to read files, allowing easy transition of projects and review of underlying data/calculation.
Technical Comprehension – learn/understand data and formulas that are used to determine performance metrics.
Complex problem solving – identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate potential solutions.
Detail oriented – strong desire for data accuracy and timeliness is critical.
Critical thinking – using logic and reasoning to identify conclusions or approaches to problems.
Excellent and Clear Communication (English) – Ability to influence others and navigate through a matrix organization.
