If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).Role & requirement:Candidate should have atleast 1-2 year of experience working in DC which can be medium to large data center environmentBasic knowledge of Data Centre components such as Server, Storage, Network, Cabling (UTP, Fiber) etc.Candidate should know the basic Operations of Data center running environment and process follow with in DCFollow the Standard Instructions given by SA (via SNOW) or DC Management for activities such as rack & stack, cable patching, server health checkWork with Designated Partner for racking and stacking of servers and all movement of servers will be managed by partner, Operator has to help of rack and stack ono initial stage.Monitor the Data center servers status in terms of physical health check.
basic Monitor work and raise incident for appropriate action to be taken ( Monitoring only involves for first level of work )Work with SA for console access and any Citi approved process needs to follow in Data centerFollow the standard operating procedure of Citi DC ops, which are standard across the regionWorked on Service now tickets / Request for any action required for server first level monitoring and engage right Team for next course of actionHands and legs Support in case of escorting partner or any change worked required in DC24*7 Support with shift work where Operator will work 40 hours a weekAbout NTT DATA ServicesNTT DATA Services is a recognized leader in IT and business services, including cloud, data and applications, headquartered in Texas.
