Data Engineer-Regional

Team and Role Introduction:
This role is part of Lazada Logistics Business Intelligence & Strategy team. The team supports performance management and analysis for Lazada Captive Logistics regional leaders. This DE's role will also work with Alibaba International Digital Commerce Data Engineering technology team to support building data foundation for captive logistics BI team.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive the construction of Lazada's logistics data warehouse and data mart, leveraging data to enhance business processes such as warehouse management and transportation.
2. Contribute to designing and implementing data architecture, models, and systems, ensuring data quality and driving automation.
3. Collaborate on developing data solutions to support business objectives.
4. Establish core data assets for the supply chain to support business growth. Job Requirements Requirements/Qualifications(must have):
1. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
2. At least 5 years of experience in data warehouse development (ETL) or big data.
3. Strong experience in designing and developing data warehouses within the big data ecosystem, with expertise in real-time and offline data processing.
4. Deep understanding of business needs to design stable and scalable data warehouse models.
5. Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem technologies, with experience in data platform development preferred.
6. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with project management experience.
7. Experience in e-commerce and logistics, or ERP is a plus.
8. Proficiency in JAVA, SQL and Python, or similar languages is advantageous. Application Form
