Responsibilities:
-Day to day operations, monitoring and maintenance task, such as:
-User Administration
-Proactive Monitoring
-Backup Execution and Monitoring
-Capacity and Performance Monitoring and Fine-tuning
-Operations Reporting in accordance to ITIL best practices and systems (HP Service Manager, Jira Service Manager)
-Manage various database high availability setup, such as database replication, and clustering
-Advance administrative and troubleshooting as a Database Administrator (working closely with remote teams)
-Implement, migrate and upgrade database in accordance to architecture design specifications and standards

; Requirements:- Requirements:
-Bachelor or Master Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
-ITIL Foundation Certification
-Minimum of 3 years professional experience in the database administration
-Must have strong knowledge and working experience in Sybase database administration
-Good working experience in open-source technologies, MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, MongoDB would be an added advantage.
-Advanced user skills in creating and analyzing of SQL statements and DB behavior
-Advanced user skills in database high availability features such as, Galera Cluster
-Knowledge and working experience in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and RedHat
-Should have basic knowledge on TCP/IP network, such as packet analysis and routing
-Knowledge and working experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure will be added advantage
-Understanding of database security features/ products will be added advantage
-Good analytical, interpersonal and English communication (verbal and written) skills.
-This job demand flexibility and willingness to work in dynamic environment with customer driven project. The candidates are expected to communicate with clients and colleagues in EU regularly.
-Ability to work under tight deadlines. Independent, self-discipline, self-organize, and able to learn and work under minimum supervision.
