Defect Management Officer

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for property defects work, pre-handover inspection, and other handover procedures such as the collection of the owner or vacant units defect list.
Assist and resolve the Owner's problems/complaints and follow up their issues within the stipulated due date until the case is settled.
Build a good rapport with owners to deliver efficient management services.
Involve and arrange third-party contractors for unit defects rectification, prepare open tender, tender report, and contract agreement to settle unit defect issues.
Submit online applications to inter-company to solve the owner's emergency defect problems.
Coordinate with third-party contractors such as glass suppliers, grouting and P.U injection, and subcontractors to ensure the rectification defect works of the units and common areas of the property.
Attend to any emergency matters that occur in the property and report to Superior/Manager immediately.
Work closely with developer civil engineering, project teams, block supervisors, maintenance and technician teams, and Security team to ensure the units and facilities of the building are well maintained.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports or other documented reports in accordance with relevant rules and regulations.
Prepare and participate in weekly meetings to report weekly work done and planning.
Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Superior/Manager from time to time.
Work closely with Project Team, Maintenance Engineering Team, and Security Team to ensure the facilities of the building are well maintained.
Job RequirementsPossess a Degree in Facility Management/Engineering or equivalent.
Required skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
Candidates with relevant experience in Property Management/Real Estate industry will be an added advantage.
Proficient in speaking and writing in Mandarin and English (Mandarin speaker required to deal with Mandarin-speaking owners/clients).
Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
5.5 working days (work full day on alternative Saturday).
