We are looking for an exceptional individual who will lead and manage high quality demand planning process for the defined area (BU and/or Countries) to contribute to reliable input to tesa manufacturing and sourcing about regional supply needs. Broaden the understanding of demand planning principles for the stakeholders in the process. The Challenges Ensure the on time and complete execution of the daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting activities with the aim of achieving the best possible forecast accuracy and value add metrics . Lead direct meetings with relevant business stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, finance)Ensure the regional consensus demand plan consolidation for the assigned scope of responsibility, by executing the following core processes: Statistical Forecast EnrichmentNew Product Introduction (NPI) & Promotion ForecastingExecution of OMP+ Task ListForecast Consensus Meetings with SalesKPI ReportingSales ReportingSupport the implementation of SEA and/or Regional forecasting process guidelines, driving continuous improvement (CIP) and harmonization Direct project management for the assigned initiatives within SEA Oversee daily inventory and demand planning using our SAP and OMP systems. Monitor and review weekly stock availability on all purchase orders to maintain in-stock positions and meet customer demand. Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize overstock situations. Analyze sales patterns, customer demand, and seasonal fluctuations to forecast inventory needs and ensure optimal stock levels across all warehouses in South East Asia. Coordinate with supply chain teams to order materials, ensuring timely deliveries to meet inventory requirements. Communicate inventory status and performance to management and cross-functional teams. Manages the sample request from Sales. What It Takes Educational level & Certifications
University degree with preferred Logistics and Supply Chain management, International Economics (APICS certification as a plus)5+ years of experience in a supply chain planning role (APO / OMP or similar tool knowledge is a plus) within a matrix organized multinational companyVery good written and spoken English skills (C1 level or higher
Capability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders (e.g., sales mgmt.) to enable the forecast enrichment process.Skilled communicator with a focus on stakeholder involvementExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsA good understanding of supply planning principlesAbility to work in a multi-cultural and virtual environment.Motivated to collaborate in an international environment, with thewillingness to occasionally travel.
