Demand Planner & Activation Manager play an important role to track, review and analysis rolling forecast submission by Commercial Team, Export Team and provide recommendation to the team based on historical data, moving forward trade activation plan and New Product Development (NPD) pipeline.
This position is the key contact point from commercial and will need to work closely with Supply Planner, Export team, Marketing and Product Development (NPD) team.
Job Responsibilities: - Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Consolidate, and analysis sales forecast mainly, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and other country within South and South East Asia (SSEA) zone. Collaborate with commercial, marketing and production planner to gather input and align forecasts with promotional activities and new product launch. Adjust forecast based on commercial demand, changing market condition, internal and external unforeseen factors.Monitor, report and provide recommendation to deplete Slow Moving and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB).Participate in Integrated Business Plan (IBP) meeting to communicated demand forecasts and inventory needed. Continuously improve forecasting methods and tools to increase accuracy and efficiency. Support commercial Director in formulating, tracking and monitor activation plan and other job related matters. Requirements Degree in Business Administration or equivalent from the recognize tertiary education. Possessed at least 10 years working experience in Commercial Intelligence and Commercial Strategy with at least 3 years experienced in food industries.Excellent communication and negotiation skill, positive work attitude, high level of integrity and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.Proficient in reading and writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
