BÓN Wine and Dine is a modern French-European restaurant that will showcase fine cuisine in a beautiful colonial ambiance.**Responsibilities**- Prepare food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mise en place and set-up station for service- Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, and flat top grill.- Label and date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss, and usage per policies.- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.**Requirements**:- Preferably Degree in the field of Culinary Arts, Food Management, Food Science, Food Management, Food Technology or other relevant courses.- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are required.- Required language(s): English- Preferably 1 - 3 years of working experience in the related field.- Proven working experience as a commis chef- Deep knowledge of the food industry and trends**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Free parking- Meal provided- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Rotational shiftSupplemental pay types:- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Georgetown: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
