Job Overview:
The Dental Surgeon Assistant supports the dental surgeon in delivering high-quality care by preparing for procedures, ensuring efficient patient management, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support:Assist the dental surgeon during procedures, including surgical, restorative, and preventive treatments.
Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment needed for procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs.
Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort and the smooth execution of treatments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Greet and prepare patients for their appointments.
Explain procedures and aftercare instructions to patients.
Manage patient anxieties and provide reassurance during treatments.Sterilization and Maintenance:Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments following clinic protocols.
Ensure treatment rooms are clean and prepared for the next patient.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels for supplies and materials.Administrative Duties:Schedule follow-up appointments as directed by the dental surgeon.
Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless clinic operations.Minimum Requirements:
Experience in a dental or surgical setting (preferred but not mandatory).
Exposure to dental equipment, tools, and materials.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
A caring and professional demeanor.
Basic knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology (bonus).
