Job Responsibilities: Assist the General Manager in overseeing the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and best practices. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring effective cash flow management. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Monitor financial performance, identifying variances and providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Lead and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Stay updated on financial regulations and industry trends to align the finance function with best practices. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or deputy role. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and accounting principles. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Effective communication skills, capable of presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
