The Deputy HR Director plays a vital role in representing HR and partnering with business and the leadership on all people-related needs across the full spectrum of HR. He/She will oversee strategic direction, planning, coordination, administration and evaluation of the HR functions in the organization. He/She will lead initiatives in HR policies development, talent acquisition, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, payroll, employee relations, learning and development, security, employee communication and HR shared services.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational goals and objectives.
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, talent development retention and offboarding.
Collaborate with the leadership to identify talent gaps and develop plans for attracting, developing, and retaining key talents in the organization.
Manage and lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure efficient and optimal work performance to achieve the desired results.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, and maintain knowledge of current HR trends and best practices.
Review and enhance HR systems, processes, and procedures to streamline operations and improve employee experience.
Provide expert advice and guidance on HR matters, including talent management, employee/industrial relations, compensation and benefits, and learning and development.
Partner with managers and employees to resolve HR issues, and promote a positive, harmonious and inclusive work environment.
Develop and manage the HR annual budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Ideally, the candidate meets the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in HR, of which at least 5 years in a HR people managerial role.
Preferred with work experience in a multinational or contract manufacturing environment exceeding 1,000 employees.
Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs.
Extensive working knowledge of labor or employment laws, regulations and compliance issues.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a diverse team.
Independent, self-driven and results oriented, with the ability to multi-task and complete tasks within the stipulated timeline.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams within the organization.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in complex and critical situations.
