We are looking for aDesign & Technology Teacher Specialized in Textile / Food Technology (Maternity Cover)who will join the International Secondary School to help us guide the school and work with our learners to take us to the next level. This position is open for alocal or expat who is currently based in Malaysia with valid visa (with permission to work) . If you want to be part of our team you will need to be passionate about learning and knowledgeable about the factors that affect learning. You will be good at working and inspiring your colleagues, our students, and their parents.

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park, Kuala Lumpur campus is a large 3-18 school located on a green 20-acre site with excellent facilities and offers a welcoming, inclusive and stimulating place to work. We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes over 2000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 18 years and from 38 nationalities; with 1350 attending the international school, 600 of whom will be in the primary school. Skills, Qualification and Experience:
AGraduate DiplomaorBachelor's Degree in Education , with a specialisation inDesign TechnologyorFood Technologyor a related field.
A minimum of2 years of teaching experience , preferably within aninternational schoolsetting.
Proficiency in teaching all areas ofDesign Technology at Key Stage 3 (KS3) , includingDesign & Technology (D&T) ,Food Technology , andTextiles .
Strong knowledge ofgraphic designprinciples and expertise in usingAdobe Creative Cloud software , includingAdobe IllustratorandPhotoshop .
Up-to-date knowledge of theUK curriculumand experience teachingGCSE AQA Design and TechnologyorGCSE AQA Food Preparation and Nutrition .
Experience in working withsecondary-age pupilsand the flexibility to adapt within a dynamic team environment.
A trueteam playerwho enjoyscollaborating , learning from others, and contributing to the professional growth of colleagues.
Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful , and energetic in the classroom.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
