Development Specialist- R&D- Johor Bahru- Full-time- Malaysia- selects appropriate sensory discrimination methodology and procedures and implements individual tests or studies as required by test/business objective- aware of data collection software (Eye Question) and is fluent in conducting basic statistical evaluation and able to interpret the results for discriminative, descriptive & quant tests- Communicates and discusses test results with the business partner(s), involving the supervisor, and agrees next steps- Plans and executes pilot plant trials/product testing/ tastings under the guidance and support of a Specialist- Analyses results and provides reports to Specialists or Managers in the team- Responsible for operating / maintaining simple equipment and facilities. Assuring good manufacturing practices with respect to maintenance and hygiene- Take care of administration and archiving results and writing & updating simple specifications to support projects- Represents R&D in simple Adapt for Excellence projects.- Adopts and follows all JDE technical systems and processes- Support R&D sensory testing- Write & perform standard operating procedures (SOP's) and suggest adjustment of standardized methods for particular products and/or problems**Qualifications**:**Must have**:- Academic level degree/Higher degree/ Trade qualified in Chemical Engineering/ Food-Science and Nutrition or related fields- 2 years of experience in this field- Good verbal, writing and communication skills in English.
