We're looking for exceptional, motivated individuals to join our team as DevOps Engineer in Kuala Lumpur.

Has a passion for building products that are fun and easy to use Looking to share their knowledge & grow other team members What you will do: Manage and maintain our production system on AWS, ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the software development and data engineering teams to determine their requirements in provisioning, deploying, configuring, automating, managing, and maintaining our AWS cloud-based production system.
Responsible for technical maintenance of security devices and technologies that constitute the company's ICT networks and resources and the Information Security Management System.
Provide recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
Implement workloads with high availability, scalable, and self-healing on the AWS platform.
Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS.
Documenting processes and logs for security audits to achieve security compliance and certification.
Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
Work following applicable policies, processes, and procedures constituting the company's Information Security Management System (ISMS).
This includes but is not limited to the organization's Information Security Policy, Data Protection Policy, Clean Desk & Screen Policy & Password Management Policy.
Requirements 2+ years of experience managing CI/CD tooling, deployment pipelines, strategies, and cloud provider technologies for AWS or GCP.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems administration.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
Moderate proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript/Javascript/Python.
Database management and administration knowledge.
Example: PostgreSQL.
Terraform/OpenTofu, to provision and manage AWS resources.
Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, microservices architecture, databases, and networking.
Familiarity with interacting with AWS APIs and SDKs.
Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming.
Certified in at least one of the following certifications is a bonus: AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Developer - Associate Basic knowledge of bash scripting in Linux environments, Docker setup, and containerization is an advantage.
Self-starter excited to relentlessly solve many technical challenges.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Able to manage your time and work well independently and as part of a team.
A BSc in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience managing and familiarity with technical infrastructure aspects within information security standards such as ISO 27001 is a bonus.
