The IQGeo Enterprise Sales team is seeking a Platform Engineer in our Denver, CO USA office or remote to support sales activity by providing technical expertise of systems and infrastructure. This role is internal and supports the Sales with demo and proof of concept needs. The Platform Engineer supports the sales team to ensure smooth operations to meet the growing list of technical requirements for the platform product and new industry vertical applications by:Support and maintain containerization/orchestrationBuild and maintain pipelines for new deploymentsManage and track changes to infrastructure as codeWork with other groups throughout the organization to ensure technical alignment and that best practice approaches as well as industry and internal standards are being usedPerform other related duties, as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities
Essential:Strong knowledge of LinuxExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshootingExperience with JenkinsExperience with infrastructure management tools like Terraform, KubeCtl, ArgoCD, Rancher, and HelmExperience running systems both in public cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)Experience using Git or other distributed version control systems and code repositoriesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDesirable:Knowledge of Node.js design and developmentEnterprise Integration especially web servicesExperience working in an Agile environmentExperience with UbuntuExperience with CloudFormation or AnsibleExperience with bug tracking tools and automation scripting languagesExperience with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or web mappingEducation and ExperienceA Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; and 3 years of industry experience.
