**Digital Media Operator / Ingest Operator**Responsible for Ingest and AdproDepartment OperationsLocation Kuala LumpurReporting to Connectivity ManagerManaging NilOpportunity As a key member of the Production team, this role is focused on the receiving of and processing of files to a quality that meets the specifications of the destination and thecustomer requirements, within the SLA.**Your Responsibilities****Digital Media**- To ensure client's orders and material are processed ready for ingest, and communicateany problems/issues with the client effectively and in a timely manner. To assist clientswith all aspects of their order or any queries they may have.- ingesting material, to the highest quality, into the system ensuring highproductivity at all times with a constant flow of ingestion.- FTP administration; Transcoding; QC and reporting; Digital File Reviewing and Ingest;various post-production techniques- to ensure client's orders and material are processed ready for ingest- to constructively and proactively liaise within the team to ensure material is ingestedand work is completed within SLA- to communicate any problems/issues effectively and in a timely manner- Fixing and Creating broadcast compliant files for delivery using post production tools- to constructively and proactively liaise within the Production team to ensure material isingested and work is completed within timeframes, customers are advised and chargedappropriately for fixes.- Maintain current clients & revenues by playing your part in ensuring the smooth runningingest, adpro and maintaining the high standards of Quality Control and Customer Service.**Operational Efficiency**- Ensure low error rate - Check material is available for ingestion within SLA- Always work efficiently and effectively, using correct workflow and work procedures- Testing end to end for TV or Broadcast products; reporting thoroughly back to agreedescalation routes- In conjunction with Traffic, prioritising Ingest tasks to meet SLA's and customer'srequirements.- Executing the following tasks in a proficient manner: Ftp and nVerge administration;Transcoding; QC and reporting; Digital File Review and Ingest; various post-productiontechniques; other tasks that should become relevant to the role from time to time.- Ensure you have the information and materials to complete the task to a satisfactoryquality within the given timeframe, if not then you must raise this with Traffic at theearliest opportunity.- Use all the technical tools efficiently and consistently and maintain an organized,structured and repeatable workflow- Follow Ingest Standard Operating Procedures- Communicate promptly and courteously in a helpful and professional manner to Trafficor other stakeholders.- Ensuring that you maintain a customer-focused orientation at all times.**Documentation**- Issue a QC report for each clock on each order.- Assist in creating and maintaining checklists and SOP's- File a fault report for any software or hardware deficiency- Understand that the Ingest department is part of a bigger chain of activities andsome flexibility may be needed to aid other departments in meeting their owntargets, whilst not compromising the aboveBe a part of a scheduled shift rotation- Assignments as required and relevant by Management- Achieve the KPIs**Skills & Experience Needed**Ideally you would currently be working in production, broadcast engineering, video editingor related industries- A minimum of 3 years experience in Ingest/ Post production services.- A background in advertising or media AV support is as knowledge of Broadcaster,- Advertising and Post House operations or workflow is a advantage- Good knowledge of Digital / Social and Online Formats (MP4, WebM etc.)- Good knowledge of broadcast file formats; MXF, MOV etc.- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere- Basic understanding of Adobe Audition and audio editing software- Good knowledge of Transcoders and File creation techniques- Good Understanding of Containers, codecs and encoding techniques**Optional**:- Good knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop- Editing toolkits, updating graphics, text layers- Good knowledge of Adobe ecosystemIn reference to the JD, slight variation: we are open to a minimum experience of 1 year as training will be provided. Experience with or knowledge of Adobe Premier/ Video Editing is sufficient. Good English communication skills as the role communicates with international markets.**The remuneration details is as below**.Gross Monthly Salary: RM3800-RM4800 (will match skillset)Annual Leave: 15 days,Medical Leave: 14 days, and per government regulationsHospitalization Insurance: Employee only, upon confirmationMedical Outpatient: RM1000 per calendar year on reimbursement basis (claimed for Optical/Dental/Outpatient)Work week: 5 days, 8 hours + 1 hour for breaks.
