Ensuring and implementing security measures to ensure the integrity and privacy of corporate and guest data, as well as compliance with data protection regulations.

Resolving issues and handling guest complaints related to IT challenges.
Communicate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Negotiation and communication with IT suppliers and service providers to ensure that the products and services delivered and used meet the requirements of hotel operators.
Responsibility for effective vacation planning for all team members.
Regular participation in HOD meetings and conducting daily team briefings.
Conducting appraisal interviews with all team members, according to Fairmont standards.
Management of the IT budget in terms of efficient use of resources.
Leading IT projects and initiatives, such as introducing new technologies or updating software applications.
Informing management about the status and progress of IT initiatives.
Preparation of reports to document the usefulness and effectiveness of IT systems.
Tracking technological trends to keep hotel operations competitive.QualificationsKnowledge and Experience
Diploma in Information Technology
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar capacity
Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
Knowledge of Windows Operating System
Ideally previous experience in pre-opening
