Working location: Senai or Muar, Johor Bahru
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute sales and marketing plan on annual basis through consultation with the General Manager, Group DOSM, and General Manager Corporate.
Plan and coordinate sales and marketing administrative budgets, marketing programs, sales promotions, and activities in consultation with the general manager and group DOSM.
Review the monthly set room-night targets and take appropriate actions to ensure that targets and plans are achieved.
Motivate and direct the sales team to achieve the agreed-upon room-night targets.
Represent in a professional manner in accordance with all policies and procedures.
Maximize profitability by implementing sales strategies that attract and maintain the hotel's targeted market segments.
Produce a weekly report, weekly sales advance planning, and weekly forecast for Group DOSM and copy it to the corporate general manager.
Produce a monthly report to the general manager, with copies to the group DOSM and corporate general manager.
Make an overseas trip or attend appropriate trade shows as designated, planned, budgeted, and approved by the general manager.
Plan and set individual annual room-night targets for the team.
Maintain appropriate membership and attend industry functions.
Make recommendations on market needs, trends, and competitors' activity to the general manager and group DOSM/corporate general manager.
Development of new businesses as well as maintaining usage from existing accounts.
Create and sell hotel packages.
Maintaining up-to-date records of the account management system.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Sales & Marketing, MARCOM, Business Studies / Management, Hospitality / Tourism Management, or equivalent.
Demonstrated skills in supervising a team.
Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
