Director, Safety, Health & Environment (Sh&E) And Operational Excellence (Oe)

Job Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive safety, health, and environmental (SH&E) programs to promote a safe and sustainable workplace.
Lead and facilitate process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Direct the continuous improvement of operational excellence initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality across the organization.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to safety, health, and environmental practices.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for SH&E and OE to drive accountability and performance improvement.
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to integrate SH&E and operational excellence strategies into overall business objectives.
Provide leadership, training, and support to staff at all levels to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Manage incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and improve safety systems.
Prepare and present reports on SH&E and operational excellence performance to executive management and external stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to safety, health, and environmental management.
Requirements Job Requirements: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
Over 10 years of experience in SH&E and operational excellence roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
In-depth knowledge of applicable SH&E regulations, standards, and practices.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SH&E and continuous improvement programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Experience in conducting SH&E audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively in a dynamic environment.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
