Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director, Supply Chain Solution located in Port Tanjung Pelepas, Gelang Patah, Johor .
What a typical day looks like :
Interface Customers to define their needs with regards to materials process design and system support - and drive implementation. Enable new business opportunities, through supply chain solutions design/configuration. Responsible for directing and leading the implementation of strategies for effective materials process design and system support to deliver the maximum advantage to the business (segment) and customers.
Lead and direct the project team in identifying, communicating and implementing strategies for effective material process design and system support.
Participate in global projects supporting design/development/testing of new supply chain solutions.
Design & implement global tools and solutions in order to meet Customer needs and GPSC Goals.
Guide in the process improvement and best practice definition.
Provide advice to Project Team to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Regularly interact with executives and major clients which may result in influencing and/or persuading customer negotiations.
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team: Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum 15 years of working experience in the related field is required NS27
