Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Management of own, 3PL and distribution activities in Malaysia. Take ownership of implementing all processes of supply chain management (SCM) for distribution. Act as the leader within SCM team in Malaysia. Job Descriptions: To manage the entire distribution activities at a country level which includes Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor and Kota Kinabalu. To manage the human capital of the department including but not limited to recruitment, people retention, training, monitoring, supervision and etc. Daily communication with all offices on operational matters and/or distribution operational matters including external stakeholders (sales, customer service and 3PL providers). To manage and ensure trucks must be in good condition, well maintained, and follow the regulations and market's best practices (5S). To understand and oversee the usage of the Company system such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), Delivery Management System (DMS) and PowerBI and act as first level respond for issue(s), if any. To identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement continuous improvement process. To review monthly distribution report, and recommend cost saving measures as well as ensuring the documents are properly organize. To perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time. Job Requirements: Possess Degree/Diploma/Certificate in in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Materials, Logistics, Transportation Management or equivalent. Minimum 5 - 7 years' working experience, preferable from FMCG, food trade services or manufacturing while experience in import shipment arrangement, inventory management and logistics would be an added advantage. Good knowledge in customs requirements and procedures, delivery arrangement on food products will be added advantage. Strong time management and organizational skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to identify opportunities, develop and implement continuous improvement process.
