Are you an adventurous couple ready to inspire and lead in one of Southeast Asia's most vibrant movements? OrcaNation Rawa is more than a dive centre—we are a hub for marine conservation and outdoor education, where instructors bring life experiences, travel stories, and unique perspectives to enrich students' learning. As a dive centre, we serve guests from a premier resort, delivering high-standard diving experiences with a strong focus on marine conservation. As an outdoor education centre, we host international schools from across Southeast Asia. We engage students in hands-on environmental education and citizen science projects, empowering them to actively contribute to real-world marine conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations of the dive centre.
Mentor and train staff, ensuring high standards of service and safety.
Manage inventory, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance.
Assist in strategic planning and future development of programs.
Engage guests and students in conservation activities.
Dive Instructor:
Conduct PADI courses.
Engage guests and students in conservation activities.
What We're Looking For:
Individuals with a passion for the ocean and an interest in or experience with conservation.
Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to engage and inspire guests and students from diverse backgrounds.
An openness to live and work closely as part of a tight-knit island community.
Preferred but not essential:
Higher educational background, especially in environmental sciences (marine biology, oceanography, geology, geography).
Experience working with children in educational or outdoor settings.
Experience with underwater or outdoor photography/videography.
No smoking / Low drinking.
Malaysian nationals.
Requirements:
Fluency in English; Chinese and French are a plus.
Digital literacy with the ability to navigate online systems, apps, and digital tools.
Dive Centre Assistant Manager: PADI certification (minimum OWSI) with experience in teaching.
Previous leadership experience in dive centres or eco-tourism. Strong organizational and mentoring skills.
Dive Instructor: PADI certification (minimum OWSI) with experience in teaching.
