Import/Export & Customs (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Full time
Participate, contribute and drive all daily documentation for import/export activities.
Maintain close communication with customers, overseas agents, and attend to any enquiry, feedback, or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with inter-departments for documentation release matters.
Monitor vessel schedules and cargo manifests.
Ensure proper filing is done for all documentation within the department.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Reports to team lead/Documentation Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must possess at least a SPM/O Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Candidate with experience in documentation in the shipping industry will be an added advantage.
Candidate must be able to speak and write good and fluent English.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision, self-motivated, organized, hardworking, multi-tasking, able to work under pressure, result-oriented, and customer-oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
Microsoft Office knowledge is compulsory.
Able to adapt to new environments including learning a new process and system.
