Details of the offer

**Main Task**Performing documentation tasks for customs requirements.- Declare dutiable goods and non-dutiable goods by preparing customs declaration forms: K1, K2, K3, K8 & K9 using E-declare & U-custom system (Electronic Custom Declaration). Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws and procedures.- Check and confirm the Harmonized System PDK HS code, AHTN HS code and other related code for the import/export of goods as furnished by customers.- Examine goods/product information to ensure compliance with regulations.- Request or compile necessary import documentation, such as customs invoices, certificates of origin, and cargo-control documents. Coordinate regulatory documentation activities.- Advise and perform checking on import and export procedures and documentation such as claim for preferential rates - CEPT, ACFTA, AKFTA, AANZFTA etc. and claim for exemptions of import duty and SST.- Advise on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, quotas, or other customs-related matters. Advise others on legal or regulatory compliance matters.- Calculate duty, tax, excise duty and SST based on CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight), CNF & FOB terms from the import/export shipping documents. Quote duty and tax rates on goods to be imported based on federal tariffs and excise taxes. Estimate costs of goods and services.- Confer with officials in various agencies to facilitate clearance of goods through customs and quarantine. Obtain documentation to authorize activities.- Prepare documentations with requirements and approval from the ministry of interior/industry - Jabatan Pertanian/Suruhanjaya Elektrik/Kementerian Kesihatan (FOSIM), LKIM, MITI, CIDB & etc. import & export license for custom clearance.- Coordinate with shipper/consignee/Jabatan Kastam, Government & concerned department in relation to custom duties, import/export license or permit & exemption issues.- Provide assistance and guidance to job trainee, junior colleagues to manage import & export custom documentation process.- Compile, keep and update list of principal's/client's custom agent appointments.- Prepare monthly declaration updates & report.- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.**Requirements**:Diploma or degree holder in any disciplineAt least 2 years working experience in freight forwardingGood organizational skillsMeticulous and attention to detail**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 60 monthsPay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to Friday- Weekend jobs
