Draftsman/ Truss Engineering

JOB SCOPE: Responsible for designing & drawing the entire structure of Lightweight Truss & Roofing for residential and commercial buildingsShop drawingMaking calculations about loads and stressesObtaining planning and/or building regulations approvalProviding technical adviceMastering CAD or AutoCAD software Preferred Qualifications: At lease Diploma in civil engineering, architecture or a related field3+ years of experience in truss design and analysis or a related fieldProficiency in computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD or CADUnderstanding of engineering and design principles, as well as safety standards and building codes KEYS SKILLS: Teamworking and communication skillsGood attention to detailCommercial awarenessAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA good working knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations is important.
