Position Overview:Chumbaka is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Education and Training Specialist to join our team. This role entails ensuring the quality and efficacy of our educational content and training materials. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of Chumbaka's programmes and support the professional development of educators and students' learning.

Responsibilities :Develop effective educational content for Chumbaka's programmes, including curriculum materials, training modules, and instructional resources.
Design and deliver training sessions and workshops for educators and mentors on the effective use of Chumbaka's educational content.
Map curriculum to external standards such as ISTE, Cambridge, and SPM, and prepare documents for easy reference.
Perform audits for quality control to ensure that educational content meets established standards and guidelines.
Outline best practices in a Mentor Guide to provide guidance and support to educators and mentors implementing Chumbaka programmes.
Prepare subject-specific teacher guides and scheme of work with clear learning intentions and supporting materials.
Provide continuous support and professional development for educators and mentors.
Activate and maintain user groups for feedback and testing, engaging with educators, students, parents, and other stakeholders to gather insights and improve educational materials.
Review content and feedback for future iterations, continuously refining and enhancing educational materials to meet the evolving needs of learners and educators.
Collaborate with the Operation & System team on their Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) efforts to assess the impact and effectiveness of educational programmes, using insights to inform ongoing improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Education, Training and Development, Curriculum Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in developing educational content and delivering training sessions for educators and students.
Strong understanding of curriculum development principles, educational standards, and pedagogical best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences.
Proficiency in educational technology tools and platforms for content development and delivery.
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Passion for education and a commitment to creating high-quality learning experiences for educators and students.
