The Duty Engineer is responsible to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departmentsQualificationsIdeally the candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Shift Engineer/Supervisor in a large hotel or in a similar large building/complex with central plant. Knowledge in preventive maintenance programme and special projects will be valuable. Technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration systems, fire main systems, sprinklers, water/waste treatment or hydraulics will be an advantage. Fluency in spoken and written English required.
