Job Responsibilities Strategy Manage portfolio assigned and increasing profitability/revenueLiaise with vendors for funded promo program, merchant commission scheme, new products/features, etcIdentify bottlenecks and potential issues related to operations and the content management process, and deliver solutions to these issuesEvaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analysesAnalyzing data and develop initiatives to increase revenues/profitability on portfolio and make decisions that builds strong operational performanceWork across functions to tailor specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations)Deliver business improvement projects to create value for both company and vendors Drive operational excellence by working with the vendors and operations teamsTo form a team to support and sustain business expansion on this platformOperations To develop the innovation and plan the sales vs target, recovery of sales on any shortfalls and mitigation plan. To conduct range reviews and undertaking continuous improvement of the product offering through platform available. To keep abreast of the current market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities to identify market opportunities To create new item code for every NPD and maintain the necessary master file and system updates for ISF items To visit stores consistently and perform market research on market trends and competitor analysis. To create effective relationships with outlet staff through regular touch points. To ensure the CU and myNEWS brand image are upheld through every planning and execution. Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by Superior or Management Job Requirement Possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree in any field or a Diploma in Business/ Management or equivalentMinimum 1-3 years or experience in sales, business development, partnerships or equivalent roleExperience in F&B industry is a plusExcellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak in other dialects such as Mandarin is an added advantage.
