We're looking for:
Assistant Educator
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the planning and implementation of lessons according to the Finnish HEI Schools curriculum and local curricula guidelines
Assist in designing and organising the learning environment
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the learning environment, as well as learning materials.
Conduct activities according to lesson plans, schedules, and procedures such as morning circle and story time
Assist/guide children in their daily routines such as mealtime.
Engage and interact with children with a big heart through fun-filled activities.
Supervise children at all times
Participate in and assist in organising school events or family events such as Sports Day, Family Day, etc
Interact with families to provide feedback about their children
Support the lead teacher in providing daily updates to families through the school app such as sharing photos, videos, routine information, and weekly/monthly newsletters
Observe and evaluate their respective portfolio on a termly basis
Attend staff meetings, parent meetings, and teacher training as required
REQUIREMENTS & QUALITIES
Malaysians
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and related fields.
Good command of English (reading, written, spoken)
Critical thinker and problem-solver
Willing to be a lead or team member accordingly
Willing to work in inclusive education setting
Lively, proactive, and creative personality
GOOD TO HAVE
Working experience with young children.
Experience with special needs children.
Certification in Phonics program, STEM or other early education teaching method.
