Tasks & ResponsibilitiesSupport Sales in implementing Lean Automated Reporting, advise and monitor implementation.
Recommend and document improvements for the automated reporting services.
Train and assist HD for day to day maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
Requirement to perform tasks out of normal business hours periodically are to be expected.
Handle inbound calls, preliminary troubleshooting and simulation of issues and gather basic troubleshooting information.
Log and follow up on Open tickets in the IDS ticketing system and provide timely status updates to customers.
All other services as may be reasonably required of a person serving in a similar capacity of competent ability.
General – to undertake such additional/miscellaneous duties from time to time to assist the Help Desk team and IDS Group function effectively as a whole.
Qualifications & ExperienceCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree, Post Graduate degree, Professional degree, Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 1-2 years' experience, knowledge in oil and gas is advantageous.
Affinity with software development preferably with understanding of software development cycle.
Knowledge in SQL is preferred and is added advantage.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels and to work with a diverse group of employees.
Able to work on shift (Morning/ Afternoon/ Midnight), travel and work beyond normal business hours when required.
Team player, fast learner and pay great attention to details.
Able to work under pressure.
Highly motivated and able to work independently.
Good interpersonal skill.
