The role – what is it we would like you to do? We are currently looking for an EHS manager with data center or hi-tech project experience based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia to be in the be in the lead and manage a variety of activities including managing clients, projects, project teams and project programmes, and develop project protocols while delivering projects on time, to budget and to the required quality levels.
Your core duties will involve: Work autonomously as a EHS Project Manager to independently manage all technical aspects of projects from concept to completion Management of internal & external stakeholders, consultants and contractors A good understanding of contracts, a commercial approach to letting bids and an ability to negotiate with contractors and suppliers Take initiative in problem solving Serve as a key participant in team and client meetings Lead with example and provide guidance and training to junior staff Leadership of your project teams as required Appoint, lead, organise and control the works of other consultants and contractors as required Build expert knowledge in our industry and convey knowledge to others What skills and attributes are we looking for from you: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as Health & Safety Management, construction management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, architecture or project management. Minimum 10 years of experience especially in technical field. Experience in data centres, high-tech is a must. Computer literate, particularly using MS Word, Excel and MS Project Passionate about project management, with the ability to demonstrate a desire to work within a leading property consultancy. Actively participate in Currie & Brown internal forums, training & social events Be able to work in a team environment and develop good team working relationships Contribute to team effort as well as individual tasks Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm Actively seek and utilise feedback to improve personal performance Prepared to be flexible where possible in role & team contribution Understanding of current industry trends and willingness to learn Excellent communication and influencing skills Confident, energetic and an ambitious self starter About Us About us: Currie & Brown is one of the leading International physical asset management and construction consultancies, dedicated to advising clients worldwide with our expertise and experience in multiple sectors and services.
