To provide the necessary support to the managers and employees at Tanjung Langsat to enable the values of the company and the goals of the manufacturing organization to be achieved in Environmental, Health and Safety matters.
To ensure that statutory requirements are understood and complied with.
Responsibilities:
Control of the immediate EHS budget.
To prevent the deterioration in health of all employees due to work-related injuries or exposure to hazardous substances.
Controlling the effects that the work carried out has on the environment.
Recording monthly the details of all reported incidents which occurred to or were associated with any employees whilst carrying out their duties.
Carry out periodic reviews of all incidents and accidents to ascertain any trends and prepare proposals for preventing re-occurrence.
Prepare, implement, and monitor a fiscal action plan for EHS which incorporates the generic requirements of the Company and the specific requirements.
To provide the support necessary to create and implement training for all employees that is identified and associated with EHS.
Preparing documents for the Loss Control Manual and ensure the contents comply with the company standards as laid down in the Global EHS manual and legislation that is specific to manufacturing at Tanjung Langsat.
Implement the requirements of the procedures and carry out an assessment programme.
Identifying specific training needs associated with the EHS function, prepare the necessary documentation, and monitor the implementation.
Requirements:
Min.
5 years of EHS working experience from Oil & Gas, heavy machine fabrication or automobile industries.
Preferably currently staying in Johor Bahru.
Candidates open to relocation are welcome to apply, provided they do not require frequent travel back to their hometown.
Able to read, speak & write in Malay and English.
A high level of competence using a PC, especially spreadsheets and databases.#J-18808-Ljbffr
