Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical design solutions for Vertiv pre-fabricated data centre projects.Provide technical support during preparation of bidding documents.Preparation of electrical specifications and project planning/implementation documents.Preparation of electrical scope of work documents.Preparation of electrical system specifications.Carrying out electrical design verifications, compliance checks, modifications, and development of detailed design electrical drawings according to relevant standards including but not limited to maximum demand, cable selection, circuit breaker discrimination, fault level, arc flash, earthing, lightning protection, lighting calculations, and reports.Ability to perform full electrical design calculations as per relevant standards and ideally model total power distribution using ETAP or similar software.WHS, Environment & Quality:Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality obligations.Actively promote safety in the workplace.Requirements:Electrical Engineering Degree.Ability to work with new products, processes, tools, and technologies.Minimum 5-7 years experience in similar projects/industry.AutoCAD Lite minimum.Data centre electrical systems design experience.The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principles & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.OUR CORE PRINCIPLES:Safety.
