Responsible in regard to electrical and instrumentation section and ensuring plants reliability through the proper planning and coordination.
Perform and implement the effective routine / preventive maintenance, planned / unplanned modification, trouble shooting and repair work for Instrument or Electrical related matters.
Preparing and implementing yearly periodically maintenance plan, team coordination for PM execution, coordinate for measuring equipment calibration/verification.
Familiar with DCS and PLC system programming, troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
Responsible for plants wiring & maintenance and improvement on process control systems.
Maintain proper records of all electrical and instrument servicing, inspection, calibration, repair and maintenance work and have such records made available for perusal if required.
Work collaboratively with other related departments, vendors for servicing and parts purchasing activities.
Manage project costs to ensure profit is maximized.
Able to design & read electrical power circuit and control circuit diagram.
Producing electrical/single-line diagrams, control panels' GA & schematic drawings, BOM list generation and preparing PLC programming for all process and functional controls of water/wastewater related systems and instrument.
Traveling to local and/or regional project sites where required for site installation supervision works and/or for trouble-shooting and/or testing and commissioning works.
Liaising and communicating with clients, subcontractors and government bodies.
Understand and ensure compliance with relevance to Health and Safety OSHA 1994 Regulations and quality standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Electrical/Instrumentation.
Minimum 1 year working experience in related field. Experience in instruments scope in engineering projects would be advantageous. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiar with basic knowledge of the maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
Experience in onsite plant commissioning, equipment & Instruments troubleshooting will have added advantages.
Experience with calibrations of plant instrumentations such as level transmitters, pressure transmitters and flowmeters.
Familiar with engineering documentation.
Creative thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Assisting and supporting in terms of scope of supplies and costing with respect to electrical, instrumentation, requirements for water/wastewater related systems and projects.
Ensure that Electrical and Instrumentation practices are carried out in accordance with the site engineering procedures and meeting the requirements of the Electric Regulations Act 1994.
Ability to commute/relocate (if required).
