Electrical & Instrument Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION : i) Manage E&I aspects of projects from conception through to completion including develop project plans, schedules, and
budgets to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
ii) Prepare and review control panel & electrical system design specifications, calculations and drawings for water/wastewater
treatment such as electrical schematics, control diagrams, and instrumentation layout plans.
iii) Design and review control system programming involving PLC/HMI/Scada/DCS system.
iv) Conduct Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test.
v) Oversee the site installation, calibration/testing, and perform commissioning for E&I systems.
vi) To attend site progress meeting, communicate with consultant/main contractor/client on project status, site issue and resolutions.
vii) Coordinate project work internally within department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion
of projects within budget.
viii) Prepare technical specification and estimate costing for E&I control system during the project bidding.
ix) Involve in E&I control system selection and procurement and Electrical contractor selection during project execution.
x) Implement quality assurance and quality control measures.
xi) Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
xii) Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
xiii) Execute the project document standardization (design templates, SOP & checklist) and filing systems and processes.
JOB SPECIFICATION : i) Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
ii) Previous experience in water/wastewater engineering or construction projects is typically required.
iii) Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and project management tools/software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
iv) Experience in hand on programming of PLC,SCADA and HMI
v) Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

x) Able to travel for outstation
